Below are photos from Thursday's American Dream Movement rally on the Capitol lawn. Demonstrators demanded a debt deal that protects Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, and makes millionaires and corporations pay their fair share. A large group of activists joined with several members of Congress to call for what they view as a fair debt deal.
The rally was sponsored by Rebuild the Dream, MoveOn.org, and other organizations.
