This week, we learned from Michele Bachmann that President Obama's "cake is baked" (in her words). Also this week, Herman Cain's views on abortion were questioned, and former Libyan dictator Muammar el-Qaddafi was killed. Here's the week that was, in quotes and pictures.

"You've won your revolution." --President Obama, to the Libyan people, Oct. 20(CHARLES DHARAPAK/AP)

“Unconfirmed reports about Qaddafi being captured... we’ve had a bunch of those before, we’ve had him captured a couple of times.” --Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, before Qaddafi's death was confirmed on Oct. 20(KEVIN LAMARQUE, POOL/AP)

"Murder will continue to rise. Rape will continue to rise. All crime will continue to rise." --Vice President Joe Biden, on what will happen if Congress doesn't pass the American Jobs Act, Oct. 19(RICHARD A. BLOOM)

"I must say again I have never seen an uglier bus than a Canadian one. He is traveling around on a Canadian bus touting American jobs." --Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., on Obama's bus tour, Oct. 18(LIZ LYNCH)

"The good news is, the cake is baked. Barack Obama will be a one-term president; there's no question about that." --Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., Oct. 18(ISAAC BREKKEN/AP)

"You get to ask the questions, and I get to answer like I want to." --Texas Gov. Rick Perry, to debate moderator Anderson Cooper, Oct. 18(CHRIS CARLSON/AP)

"Governor Perry, you say you've got the experience. It's a bit like saying, you know, the college coach that's lost 40 games in a row has the experience to go to the NFL." --Mitt Romney, in debate, Oct. 18(CHRIS CARLSON/AP)

"I'm 100 percent pro-life. End of story." --Businessman Herman Cain, in a tweet, Oct. 21(TONI SANDYS, POOL/AP)
