Websites 'Go Dark' in Protest of Piracy Bills -- PICTURES

More than 7,000 websites plan to 'go dark' on Wednesday in protest of a pair of bills aimed at curbing piracy, which the sites argue will facilitate censorship online.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid plans to bring the Senate version of the legislation, the Protect IP Act, to a vote next week, to the praise of the Hollywood film and music industries.

The House's Stop Online Piracy Act is still making its way through that chamber, but it has caused national outrage among those who consider it censorship.

Below are screen shots of some of the websites that have blocked their content to protest the bills.
