This past year was an eventful one in political discourse, complete with quips, one-liners, gaffes, and comments that left us simply shaking our heads. The 2012 Republican field, members of Congress, and President Obama all said memorable things this year. With that in mind, here are National Journal's top 22 political quotes of 2011.
