The World's Top Arms Manufacturers -- PICTURES

The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute released on Monday its annual list of the world's top 100 arms-producing companies, ranked by arms sales (excluding Chinese companies) in 2010, the latest year for which they have data.
The same seven American companies among the top 10 below that were in last year's list are in this year's, along with a British, European Union, and Italian company:
No. 10: United Technologies 2010 Sales in U.S. Dollars: $11.4 billion Country: United States
No. 9: L-3 Communications 2010 Sales in U.S. Dollars: $13.1 billion Country: United States
No. 8: Finmeccanica 2010 Sales in U.S. Dollars: $14.4 billion Country: Italy
No. 7: EADS 2010 Sales in U.S. Dollars: $16.4 billion Country: European Union
No. 6: Raytheon 2010 Sales in U.S. Dollars: $23.0 billion Country: United States
No. 5: General Dynamics 2010 Sales in U.S. Dollars: $24.0 billion Country: United States
No. 4: Northrop Grumman 2010 Sales in U.S. Dollars: $28.2 billion Country: United States
No. 3: Boeing 2010 Sales in U.S. Dollars: $31.4 billion Country: United States
No. 2: BAE Systems 2010 Sales in U.S. Dollars: $32.9 billion Country: United Kingdom
No. 1: Lockheed Martin 2010 Sales in U.S. Dollars: $35.7 billion Country: United States
