Super Campaigning: Obama, Romney Will Have Super Bowl Events in Indiana—PICTURES

On Sunday, the New England Patriots and the New York Giants will vie for the NFL's Lombardi Trophy at the Super Bowl in Indianapolis—a crowning achievement in American sports. Meanwhile, President Obama and Mitt Romney are locked in a contest for the crowning achievement in American politics—the presidency. To reach that goal, the campaigns of both candidates will be holding events. Here's a look at who will be attending:

Tagg Romney, left, son of Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, will attend a campaign event for his father at Indianapolis Colts Grille on Saturday. Tagg, who advises his father, gave roughly $7,000 to the 2008 Romney campaign.

New York Jets owner Woody Johnson will attend the Romney event. In 2008, Johnson donated to Sen. John McCain's campaign.

Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder, also attending the Romney event in Indianapolis on Saturday, gave $2,300 to McCain's camp in 2008.

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Khan backed Romney in 2007, giving his campaign $2,300. He will also attend Saturday's event.

President Obama's Indianapolis fundraiser on Saturday will be hosted at the home of Dr. Woodrow Myers, formerly the health commissioner for Indiana and for New York City. He's shown here, far right, in 1990 at a press conference in New York.

Jim Messina, the former White House deputy chief of staff who left to run Obama's campaign, will also attend. Tickets range from $250 to $2,500.

The event will reunite the president with Reggie Love, the former Duke University basketball star who served as Obama's personal assistant before leaving the White House for graduate school in 2011.

Though his team didn't make it to the final football contest of the season, Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith will be in town at the president's fundraiser. Smith gave Obama's 2008 campaign $2,300.

While he's not attending the event, New York Giants co-owner Jonathan Tisch is known as a generous Obama backer. In 2008, Tisch donated the legal maximum of $35,800 to the Obama Victory Fund.
