Highlights from Monday's National Journal Events — Pictures

National Journal kicked off the first day of the Republican National Convention with a daily briefing titled "The Digital Campaign and Social Media's Impact in 2012." The panel featured Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder; Zac Moffatt, digital director for the Romney campaign; and representatives from Twitter, Google, and Facebook.

The events continued in the afternoon with "Building Healthy Cities" at 2 p.m., which featured experts discussing public-private partnership solutions to deliver effective health care.

And at 4 p.m., a panel discussion, "Powering the City," covered efficient energy strategies cities can pursue in the coming years.
