Gen. Petraeus Honored in Retirement Ceremony -- PICTURES

August 31, 2011

At an hour-long ceremony on Wednesday at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall in Virginia, Gen. David Petraeus was honored for his 37 years of service in the armed forces. Petraeus's retirement will be short-lived—he is slated to take over as the director of the CIA in a few weeks.
