David couldn't attend and was represented by his wife, Eunice, according to White House pool reports. The awards presentation and music will be broadcast on May 21 as a part of the PBS program, "In Performance at the White House," which included performances by Stevie Wonder, Sheryl Crow, Michael Feinstein, Diana Krall, Lyle Lovett, Rumer and Shele, according to the reports.
