Script of "Crisis" (TV)

ANNOUNCER [v/o]: North Carolina faces an economic crisis. And, for 21 years, Bev Perdue has simply pushed the status quo. Perdue presided over $6 billion in new taxes, voted to increase the gas and sales tax.

Now unemployment is up 57 percent since Perdue became lieutenant governor. Two hundred eighty people lose their jobs every day. Eighty thousand jobs lost to China.

So, what's "Status Quo Bev"'s plan for the future?
