Script of "The Truth" (TV)

GREG FISCHER [v/o]: I was fortunate to be raised in a family where social justice and public service was just part of who we are.

Two lessons they taught me. My dad’s was: Everybody’s the same, whether it be the president of the United States or somebody that’s out hard on their luck.

My mom’s always was: If you can help somebody, you help them. Don’t ask what’s in it for you.

(Text on screen: True Democrat)

It’s time for change. And to change Washington, we need to start changing the kind of people we send there. I have never been a politician, but I have always been a public servant.

I’m Greg Fischer, and I approve this message.
