Summary: The New Mexico GOP uses Obama's "bitter" comments against him in a spot aimed at rural voters.
Script of "Portales" (Radio)
ANNOUNCER: Portales, New Mexico: a community of farmers, dairy workers, college students, and ranchers. We work hard, cherish time spent with our families, value our faith, and honor the freedoms we've been granted as Americans.
Unfortunately, Democrat Barack Obama has a different view of those who live in rural, small-town communities.
Speaking to a crowd of San Francisco liberals, Obama attacked the values of people living in small towns by saying, "They cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them, or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."
Obama seems to have a problem with people who believe in their constitutional right to bear arms, who have a strong devotion to their faith and have a deep appreciation for the American way of life.
Many are wondering -- who does Barack Obama think he is? On second thought, who does Barack Obama think we are?
