STATE OF LOBBYING

Obama's Lobbyists

Saturday, March 21, 2009

National Journal checked the names of 267 individuals appointed or nominated to various senior positions in the Obama administration against the Senate Office of Public Records database of registered lobbyists. The database has records dating back to 1999. This chart lists the names of 30 individuals, or about 11 percent of the total, who were registered to lobby at some point within the past five years.
