The House Republican Caucus is likely to shrink -- largely because Democrats have successfully branded the GOP as "incompetent."
House Republicans appear to be on the verge of their second straight electoral calamity. After losing 30 seats in 2006 and three more in special elections this year, the GOP looks to be headed toward a net loss of another 20 to 25 House seats -- or possibly more -- on Election Day.
