POSSIBLE OBAMA NOMINEES

Potential Justices: Hillary Rodham Clinton

Clinton

U.S. senator, D-N.Y.

Age: 60

Details: While her legal resume is less stellar than some, she is plenty smart and would bring the stature of a national political figure to the court for the first time since the Earl Warren era. President Eisenhower appointed Warren as chief justice as part of the deal that delivered Ike the 1952 Republican nomination. Obama needs Clinton's enthusiastic support almost as much as Eisenhower needed Warren's.
