When the first incarnation of John McCain's presidential campaign imploded last summer, a few stalwarts stuck around, pitching in where needed. That core group now has plenty of company: McCain's staff has doubled in two months to about 175. National Journal profiles McCain's key political and policy advisers in nine topic areas.
