Economic Interests - A Doha Deal in the Making?
GENEVA -- Discussing the deadlocked Doha Round of multilateral trade talks, an ambassador to the World Trade Organization here recently recalled his days as a young diplomat working on a previous trade agreement. He asked his boss how one knew when negotiations were over. "When the bell rings," the veteran diplomat counseled him. "It's just that not all people are attuned to hear it."
