Israeli complaints about the Obama administration's public statements on Iran may have pushed the White House to consider as soon as this weekend more "forcefully" outlining potential military actions, the Wall Street Journal reports, citing people familiar with the discussions. The outline would include what "red lines" Iran must not cross, according to the report.
The sources told the Journal that President Obama could use an American Israel Public Affairs Committee speech on Sunday to outline those potential actions before he meets with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday. Some administration officials, however, said that if he is to more clearly define the red lines, Obama's likely to do it in private with the prime minister, not at the AIPAC speech.
