One of the 12 Secret Service agents implicated in a widening scandal brought a woman to a hotel where President Obama eventually stayed, CBS News reports.

An anonymous law enforcement official told CBS that the agent brought the woman to the Hilton Hotel in Cartagena, Colombia, just days ahead of Obama’s arrival.

“It just gets more troubling," said Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman, I-Conn., on CBS's Face the Nation on Sunday.

The scandal involved 12 Secret Service employees and 11 military members, according to The Associated Press. Six Secret Service members have lost their jobs, one has been cleared and five remain on administrative leave.
