A cartoon sideshow appears in a new ad for Rep. Ted Strickland, the Democrat seeking re-election in Ohio's 6th District. Strickland faces Republican Lt. Gov. Nancy Hollister next week, and the announcer talks about Strickland's support of tax bills as a chorus of voices chants, "tax tax tax tax!" A second ad says that seniors cannot trust Hollister.

The Almanac of American Politics features a profile of Strickland, while Hollister has an official campaign Web site. A current Republican National Committee ad is airing in support of Hollister.
