Rep. John Sullivan Loses Okla. 1st District GOP Primary

  • With 94 percent of precincts reporting, Navy Reserve pilot Jim Bridenstine has 54 percent to Sullivan's 46 percent. The AP has called the race for Bridenstine.
  • Bridenstine hit Sullivan on lack of productivity and spending restraint in D.C.; Sullivan recognized trouble and aired sharp TV ads, but it wasn't enough.
  • Sullivan is the eighth member to lose a primary this cycle. For more, go to Hotline On Call.
