This Primary Could Get Very Harri

The Club for Growth endorsed state Sen. Harri Anne Smith (R) 4/9, saying she's "established a reputation for consistently opposing higher taxes and more" gov't spending. Meanwhile, state Rep. Jay Love (R) "has voted for multiple tax increases," including a "massive" tax hike in '03. CfG Pres. Pat Toomey: "When a candidate is the only state senator voting against a massive tax increase, taxpayers know they can count on her to fight the tax hikers and big spenders in Congress" (release, 4/9).
