Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama "are ratcheting up their campaign" in OR. The registration deadline is 4/29 and only registered Dems will be able to cast ballots. Both camps have offices in Salem and headquarters in Portland. Obama also has offices in Beaverton, Bend, Medford, and Springfield. "Clinton organizers say there will be a satellite office in the Williamette Valley" (Wong, Salem Statesman Journal, 4/16).
