The Dem race is coming to KY. Barack Obama supporter/Rep. John Yarmuth (D-03): "In my opinion it does not hurt that she stays in the race. There will be a full campaign in Kentucky because there's enough energy to warrant it and I believe the people in the state want it."

Obama COO Betsy Myers: "Barack will be here a lot." Myers acknowledged that the Obama camp faces long odds against Clinton in KY. "But she said the benefit to Obama of an extended primary is that he can personally deliver his message of change to Kentucky voters, which may help him gain in the polls and lay the groundwork for the fall general election."

Both camps have opened over a dozen KY offices (Alessi, Lexington Herald-Leader, 5/8). The Obama camp announced 5/7 that is would start airing its first KY TV ads (Price, Kentucky Post, 5/7).
