SUPERDELEGATE TRACKER

Nearly A Three-Way Tie

Updated: November 19, 2010 | 8:33 p.m.
May 7, 2008

The following is a Hotline-tabulated breakdown of each state's superdelegates and their announced support for each Dem candidate, culled from a variety of sources. Some superdelegates have started to waffle (to varying degrees) on whether or not they will continue to support their original choice. For clarity's sake, we will continue to list such superdelegates with their original candidates until they make a firm announcement to back the other candidate. Please let us know of any questions, errors, or additions.

Election 2012 – Managing Alternatives

5:06 p.m.

In politics, the language of choice often comes loaded. School choice. Abortion rights. Public option. Proponents embrace these descriptions to put the best possible face on otherwise contentious issues. This was one of the weeks when the politics of alternatives defined the debate.
