Rep. David Wu (D) will face businessman Joel Haugen (R) in the fall, after defeating Will Hobbs (D) and operations manager Mark Welyczko (D) in the primary. Haugen defeated Ron Paul supporter/pathologist asst. Claude William Chappell (R) in the GOP primary. Results with 87% of the vote tallied (AP, 5/21).
