NJ Turnpike-Garden State Parkway Commis./non-profit board member/Bishop David Evans (D) "has decided to drop" his candidacy to succeed Rep. Rob Andrews (D). Evans spokesperson Brandon Bell said the decision was based on "personal reasons" and because Evans needed to devote his time to running his church. Bell: "It's the gravity of it, the stress on the church."
Rep. Andrews wife/atty Camille Andrews (D), USAF vet. Mahdi Ibn-Ziyad (D), and John Caramanna (D) are also running (Friedman, PolitickerNJ.com, 4/21).
