First Lady Starts Book Tour Next Week

First Lady Michelle Obama starts a book tour of sorts next week to promote a book she’s written about her effort to get people to plant gardens and eat the veggies from them.

Proceeds from American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America will go to the National Park Foundation, the White House said in a statement.

The First Lady has made exercise and healthy eating her personal campaign and has invited Washington-area schoolchildren to the White House to plant and harvest a vegetable garden there.
