No One Is Registered for Obamacare In Oregon

The health insurance exchange's website never got off the ground.

Oregon opted to run its own implementation of the Affordable Care Act but can't enroll a single consumer in Obamacare, Reuters reports.

The state's failed online exchange site presents a far more dire situation than the federal government's troubled; Oregon officials have been instructing consumers to fill out a 19-page, paper application instead.

Nearly 25,000 individuals have completed paper applications but none have officially enrolled for coverage. The state has hired roughly 400 temporary workers to speed up the process.
