Through the Ceiling: Empowering Women in 2014 and Beyond

Wednesday, September 10, 2014 8:00 AM - 10:45 AM

The Grand Hyatt Washington | 1000 H Street NW | Washington, DC

(Kristoffer Tripplaar)

National Journal’s third annual women’s event convened influential Washington women for a series of conversations on the evolving role of women in leadership.

How are female role models empowering women and inspiring change? What lessons can be learned from women who are tri-sector leaders, successfully building careers that span government, business and the non-profit sector? And how are women in Washington working across the aisle to advance common sense solutions for all Americans?

National Journal explored questions and more. Participants included prominent women from across all sectors, ranging from Capitol Hill to the private sector and beyond.
