Policy Summit: Prescription For Growth
Health Care and Job Creation
Many of the occupations projected to grow the fastest are concentrated in health care reform, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The recent passage of landmark health care reform legislation raises the question: will health care reform serve as a jobs creator and accelerate growth in health-related industries?
This event will examine employment trends in the health care reform sector, the potential impact of recently passed health care reform as an economic engine, the quality and scope of new health-related jobs and the role of the federal government and private industry in preparing a highly skilled workforce.
