Congressional Connection Poll Event

Thursday, October 10, 2013 8:00 AM - 10:30 AM EDT

Newseum, Knight Conference Center | 7th Floor | Washington, DC

Please note: This event will take place as scheduled through the government shutdown. Government employees were welcomed to attend as private citizens.

The lines of communication between Washington and the rest of the country have broken down. In this increasingly polarized political era, the United Technologies/National Journal Congressional Connection poll is intended to provide a reliable, sophisticated and objective source of information about the nation's priorities for Washington— and its assessment of the policies Washington is pursuing.

Timed to coincide with a new poll release in October, this National Journal event will explored attitudes on the deficit and debt ceiling debate. Panels included interviews with members of the Administration, pollsters and analysts who are experts in the ongoing debate over how to fix our national debt.
