The northern segment of the Keystone XL Pipeline may be mired in indefinite federal delay, but the project's southern leg could be done before November, Fuel Fix reports

TransCanada said the southern section of the pipeline, which will carry crude from Cushing, Okla., to Nederland, Texas, is expected to be completed by the end of October. The company said it is waiting on federal approval before starting work on the portion of the pipeline between North Dakota and Nebraska, because shipments would not be worth the cost without influx of cross-border crude from the Canadian tar sands.
