Report: Justice to Probe J.P. Morgan Loss

The Justice Department is launching a criminal investigation into the $2 billion loss reported last week by J.P. Morgan Chase, the Washington Post reported on Tuesday.

The report came shortly after the bank's chief executive, Jamie Dimon, came under fire from shareholders at a meeting in Tampa, Fla. Dimon called J.P. Morgan Chase's mistakes “self-inflicted” and said that the loss was something that "should never have happened.”
