Indiana Republican Gov. Mitch Daniels tagged increasing gas prices to President Obama’s energy policies on Fox News Sunday, picking up an increasingly popular GOP line of attack.

Gas prices have jumped from $1.85 in January 2009 to $3.67 today because of “a conscious decision by this administration,” Daniels said, blaming Obama administration environmental regulations for putting refineries out of business and policies that ban more domestic drilling.

Daniels also ruled out jumping into the presidential race again on Sunday.
