Members of Congress Can't Even Agree on Things They Agree On

To add to the list of things our rivaling parties can't agree on, today Republican Representative Eric Cantor declined to sign on to what is now an all Democratic letter opposing the United Nations declaration of a Palestinian state, reports Politico's Ben Smith. While the letter takes what Smith calls "a mainstream position in both parties of staunch support for Israel and opposition to the unilateral Palestinian declaration," not a single Republican has backed the effort, providing yet another schism between the two parties. Congress just can't agree on anything these days.
