Group Put On Hold For Clinton Phone Records
A federal judge scolded Judicial Watch while ruling Tuesday that the advocacy group must wait in line for phone records from the days when Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., was first lady.
Judicial Watch had asked for the records under the Freedom of Information Act, then sued to have them released immediately. But librarians for the Clinton presidential library in Little Rock, Ark., said there was a tremendous backlog. Fulfilling the Judicial Watch request first, the library argued, would mean skipping over other requests.
"Judicial Watch must abide by the kindergarten commandment to wait one's turn," U.S. District Judge James Robertson said, according to the Associated Press.
