Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, the Arizona Democrat shot at an event in Tucson in January, said she feels "pretty good" in a preview of a to-be-aired interview with ABC.
When ABC's Diane Sawyer asked Giffords about her lengthy rehabilitation, Giffords replied: "It's difficult." The on-camera comments are Giffords' first since the shooting spree that killed six people and wounded 12, according to a Reuters report.
The ABC interview, previewed on Thursday and Friday, is slated to coincide with the release of a memoir by Giffords and her husband, Navy Capt. Mark Kelly, entitled: "Gabby: A Story of Courage and Hope."
