Samsung wins a patent dispute after a British judge rules its tablet computers don't infringe on Apple's technology because they are "not as cool" as iPads, The Washington Post reports.

Companies are playing hardball with troves of patents, The Wall Street Journal reports.

A public-information campaign and actions by service providers helped prevent any major impact when the FBI shut down temporary servers on Monday, according to CNET.
