Internet Giants To Join Forces For Lobbying Clout

Amazon, eBay, Google, Facebook are among the companies that are expected to be part of a new tech industry trade group set to launch in September, National Journal's Chris Frates reported Wednesday.

The Internet Association will be headed by Michael Beckerman, a Republican veteran of Capitol Hill with ties to House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton, R-Mich., and a background in telecom and Internet policy.
