It took 16,000 processors, but a Google computer network taught itself to recognize a cat, The New York Times reports.

On Tuesday, dozens of analysts at major banks involved with Facebook's IPO will be free to weigh in on the still-disputed public stock offering, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Zynga hopes to create a social network for gamers, Reuters reports.
