With at least two congressional committees looking into Facebook's disastrous IPO, the social networking behemoth had added some firing power to its lobbying arsenal, bringing on the bi-partisan firm Peck, Madigan, Jones & Stewart to work the Hill on the tech giant's behalf, partner Peter Madigan confirms.
Influence Alley has learned that the lobbying shop has begun reaching out to the offices of some prominent lawmakers to chat about issues surrounding the tech company's multi-billion dollar IPO. The biggest question on Capitol Hill is whether the banks preparing the offering shared negative projections with favored clients and not all investors.
