The Wall Street Journal reports that Clearwire has signed a five-year deal with Leap Wireless to provide the no-contract wireless carrier with high-speed mobile broadband service.

Google's former engineering director, who left the company last month to rejoin Microsoft, says Google has lost its way, InformationWeek reports.

European Union competition officials are questioning whether Europe's five biggest telecom operators were colluding by meeting to discuss strategy and technical cooperation, Reuters reports.
