CMS Chief on Health IT: What's an iPad?
Donald Berwick, the administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, said today that he's hopeful that Americans will embrace personalized health records -- but he recognizes the challenges in implementing high-tech tools. Speaking at a National Journal LIVE event on the effect of health care-associated infections on the quality and cost of health care delivery, Berwick said that he's personally not acquainted with iPads and iPods.
