The machinists union has a simple message for the washing machine manufacturer Whirlpool: "Spin This!"

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers blasted the company for allegedly shuttering factories and sending U.S. jobs overseas while accepting grants and incentives from state and local governments in a new ad Tuesday.

The American Clean Skies Foundation also had a new ad today calling on the federal government to cut its dependence on foreign oil, and CNBC has a spot highlighting its special coverage for the fiscal cliff.

In other new ads, the Community Financial Services Association of America touted its efforts to provide access to short-term credit; Huntington Ingalls Industries promoted the simulation technology it uses to help protect soldiers; and the National Association of Realtors defended the home mortgage interest deduction, which could be on the table in fiscal cliff negotiations.

The Science Applications International Corporation also heralded its commitment to protecting freedom through science and technology, and the Service Employees International Union advocated for the protection of graduate medical education as a way to stave off a growing physician shortage.

Those with continuing ads, per Kantar Media's Washington Eye, include: AARP, the American Hospital Association, the American Petroleum Institute, the Council of Fashion Designers, the Credit Union National Association, the Delegation of the European Union to the United States, Goldman Sachs, Huntington Ingalls Industries, the Independent Community Bankers of America, Lockheed Martin, McDonald's, Raytheon, the Service Employees International Union, Siemens, United Healthcare, United Technologies and Whirlpool.
