Today's Influence Ads: Catholic League Praises Pope Pius XII

In a new ad Monday, the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights highlighted praise for Pope Pius XII, who served as pope from 1939 to 1958, advocating peace and opposing communism during WWII.

The American Continental Group also welcomed David F. Pearce as partner Monday in a full page ad underscoring his lobbying experience and his tenure on the Hill.

Those with continuing ads, per Kantar Media's Washington Eye, include: the American Healthcare Association, the Association of American Medical Colleges, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Exxon Mobil, Goldman Sachs, Janssen Biotech, Meads International, the Nazarbayev Center, WETA-TV, Whirlpool and WTOP-Radio.
