Sessions Names New House Rules Committee Staffers

Incoming House Rules Committee Chairman Rep. Pete Sessions is bringing in three new staffers to work on the committee.

Sessions’ Chief of Staff Towner French will become the deputy chief staff director of House Rules. His legislative director, Robert Cousins, will become the House Rules Committee policy director. The new committee communications director will be Torrie Miller, currently Sessions’ communications director.

In other jobs news, Marisol Garibay will join the Organization for International Investment, the business association announced Thursday. Garibay will head the OFII's communications office.

A veteran of the House Financial Services Committee, Garibay also has experience at the Treasury Department.
