Jessica Gross Crawford, most recently director of government relations at Van Scoyoc Associates, is joining New Profit Inc. as director of government affairs for America Forward, a non-partisan policy effort.

On the Hill, Crawford worked on the House Committee on Education and the Workforce and for former Rep. Michael Castle, R-Del.

Jeff Strunk, who most recently served as House Speaker John Boehner's deputy floor director, is joining Forbes-Tate as senior vice president, the firm announced today. 

Also today, James L. Kroeker, a former Securities and Exchange Commission accountant, is joining Deloitte. Kroeker joins as deputy managing partner and starts on Jan. 7, the firm said in a statement.
