DCCC Targets 35 House Republicans Over Discharge Petition

Constituents in 35 Republican House districts can expect a phone call from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee starting today.

The DCCC is aiming to pressure the GOP lawmakers to sign on to a Democrat-backed discharge petition on a Senate-passed bill that extends the Bush tax cuts on the middle class.

House Democrats charge that Republicans are "holding middle class tax cuts hostage" and threatening to take the country over the fiscal cliff. Check out the full list of lawmakers being targeted here.
