Trudi Boyd, who has served on the Hill as a chief of staff and communications director and was most recently the general manager of Allison + Partners's D.C. office, is joining Story Partners, the firm announced today. 

Our National Journal Magazine colleagues had the details Friday: 

This week, Boyd reunites with Gloria Dittus, the grande dame of Washington communications, at a firm that concentrates on “innovative new-media and social-networking strategies,” according to company materials. A descendant of Dittus Communications, Story Partners combines shoe-leather communications professionals (“the old team,” says Boyd) with social-media jockeys (“the new team”).

“Story Partners has really been energized by the infusion of new talent,” she says. “That’s exactly what I was searching for.”
